Press Release Body = Mumbai, Feb 14, 2007: Networking is still the best form of
getting referrals, whether it is for business growth or enhancing job prospects. One
of the most potent and powerful networking tools is the "Alumni" i.e. a group of
people from different batches passing out from the same college. These alumni
associations bring with them a lot of experience and reference power that could
prove extremely useful for professional growth.
Members of E-SEEED, an alumni association of S.P.S.M.B.H's College of Architecture,
Kolhapur, meet annually to discuss and deliberate on critical issues that today's
young architects are facing. Interestingly, the group also ponders over social
issues that could make a difference to the society. This year E-SEEED organised its
16th Annual Ex-Student's Meet & Convention "TAKE-OFF" on January 20 & 21, 2007 in
Mumbai.
Sharing his thoughts on the need to support talented architects, Mr. Ninad Randive,
Vice-President of E-SEEED and the Founder Chairman of Mumbai-based Sankalpan Group
said, "There is an increasing global and domestic demand for architectural
consultancy, facilitating adoption of various marketing or promotional strategies in
the field of architecture. These developments offer tremendous business
opportunities for young and upcoming architects in India and Sankalpan Group is
ready to provide all the help to junior architects particularly from this
association."
Well-known Pune-based architect Mr. Manish Kute, the new President of E-SEEED, said,
"Skills of architects need to be honed to face competition. We as seniors should put
an emphasis on providing training to architects for enhancing their professional
skills, assist them get more business opportunities and improve the quality of
architectural practice."
The next i.e. the 17th Annual Convention will be held in January 2008 at Nashik.
